Teach from knowledge, skill, and embodiment

Universal Reformer Instructor Basic & Intermediate (Level I & II – Deepening & Mastery

At Memento Bodyworks, we honor the roots of Joseph Pilates’ original work while guiding teachers toward a richer, more embodied understanding of the method.
Our Level II training in The Classical Pilates Method – Universal Reformer work is an invitation to deepen your practice, refine your eye, and cultivate the clarity and artistry that define truly skilled instruction.

This training is designed for teachers who feel called to go beyond the basics — to explore the classical repertoire with nuance, to sharpen their technical precision, and to lead multi-level groups with grounded confidence and care.

Through dedicated practice, hands-on guidance, and thoughtful progression, you will strengthen both your teaching and your personal embodiment of the Universal Reformer work.

Who is this training for?

  • Teachers who have completed a foundational Level I in The Classical Pilates Method – Universal Reformer work, or those with equivalent classical training.

  • Instructors who already know the Reformer, but want to understand it more deeply — in their own bodies and in the bodies they teach.

  • Practitioners committed to guiding clients safely toward greater strength, balance, and inner organization, honoring the classical pathway without dilution.

Upon completing Level II, you will teach with more presence, precision, and trust in your own eye — offering classes that carry the depth, refinement, and intention that distinguish the Classical approach at Memento Bodyworks.
